Morpheus8 combines two different technologies into one treatment and is a combination of microneedling and radiofrequency. It is minimally invasive and offers many different benefits to your skin, including:

Just before your Morpheus8 treatment, your Beauté Aesthetics specialist will apply a numbing gel to the treatment area to ensure you are comfortable during the procedure.

Once the numbing gel has taken effect, your experienced, expertly trained specialist will use a hand-held device that looks a bit like a blow dryer to begin your treatment. Instead of a nozzle that delivers air, this device has a square platform on the end that houses tiny microneedles that create tiny channels in your skin while also sending radio frequency down into the deeper layers. The depth the needles penetrate and the intensity of the radio frequency can be adjusted to best suit the treatment area and the cosmetic concern being targeted.

As the radiofrequency heat is sent into the layers of the skin, it can melt and eliminate unwanted accumulations of fat and trigger your body to produce new collagen and elastin in the treated areas. The micro-injuries that are made by the tiny needles also trigger your body’s built-in repair response, and new collagen and elastin are made to help heal these injuries. This helps to firm the underlying tissue and also tighten the surface skin, which leaves your skin looking firmer, plumper, and smoother. Virtually No Downtime

You can normally return to your usual activities right after the procedure with the exception of strenuous exercise, sitting in a sauna or hot tub, and a few other activities. Normally, right after your treatment, your face or the treated area may appear red or slightly swollen in some areas, but not to the degree that it would inhibit your ability to go about your normal routine. You might look like you have a mild sunburn, but it normally will only last until the next day, and some people experience some light bruising or tiny scabs, which are considered normal, and they will go away on their own in a week or so. You will need to keep the treated areas moisturized, using Aquaphor or something similar, and avoid sun exposure

Treatment Day

When your Morpheus8 treatment is complete, your skin will feel warm, tight, and maybe a bit tender. You may look like you have a sunburn, and you may have some mild swelling in some spots. Your Beauté Aesthetics specialist will apply a soothing moisturizing treatment onto your skin and provide you with instructions on how to care for the treated areas while you heal. You need to wait a few days before using your normal skincare products as directed by your skincare specialist.

Day 1

It is still normal to have redness and some swelling, and you may notice some light bruising, so wash your face very gently with a very mild cleanser and continue to reapply the moisturizer recommended by your Beauté Aesthetics specialist to keep your skin protected as it heals. Avoid any activities that cause you to sweat and stay out of direct sunlight. It is a good idea to wear a hat for a few weeks and always apply sunscreen when you are outside.

Day 2

Most people notice the redness is mostly gone if it has not totally disappeared, but you still may have puffy areas. You may be able to wear light makeup if you do not have any scabs on your face and your skin does not have any broken places. Continue to gently cleanse your face (or the treatment area) and apply the moisturizer.

Days 3–5

Your skin may feel slightly rough or dry, and you may still have some tiny marks from the treatment, but this is a normal part of the healing process. Continue to gently take care of your treatment areas as directed and to avoid the products that contain acids and retinoids as directed.

Days 6–7

About a week after your treatment your skin should look very close to normal, but it may still feel a bit rough to you when you touch it. If your face was the area treated, you should be able to wear makeup again, but continue to go easy on the skincare to avoid any irritation.

Week 2

Your skin should look and feel mostly normal at this point, and you can begin to add back many of your routine skincare products as directed by your skincare specialist. You will notice that your complexion looks healthier and glowy, and you should see a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

Weeks 3–4

Your face or treatment area will continue to gradually improve as the new collagen and elastin repair the treated areas. By this time, you should see marked improvements in the tone and tightness of your skin, along with the other cosmetic concerns you targeted. Your final results can take up to six months to be revealed, but you can schedule another Morpheus8 treatment before this time if you are treating deeper concerns.

To get the results you want from your Morpheus8 treatment, it is important that you follow the precautions outlined by your Beauté Aesthetics skincare specialist. You will be provided with the instructions that pertain to your exact treatment, but these are some of the most common:

1. Do put products (creams or moisturizers) that have ingredients like alpha hydroxy, retinol (Vitamin A), beta hydroxy, vitamin C, on the treated areas for at least a week after your treatment.
2. Make sure to protect the treated areas from sun exposure for at least two weeks by covering up with clothing or wearing a hat as well as using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
3. Do not use ice on the treated areas because it can slow down or interfere with your healing process.
4. Stay away from prescription medications, supplements, and over-the-counter remedies that cause your blood to thin, like Motrin, Advil, fish oil, turmeric, etc.
5. Take it easy for the first few days and stay away from activities that will make you sweat as well as environments that are full of germs (like the gym).

1. Handle your treatment areas with care and use a gentle touch when washing, rinsing, or touching these areas. Always use clean hands when applying your moisturizer and clean linens when drying the areas to avoid irritation or exposing the healing skin to bacteria.
2. Continue to use the moisturizer approved by your Beauté Aesthetics specialist as directed until you are told you can stop.
3. Make sure to drink plenty of water each day to stay properly hydrated.
4. Wear sunscreen every day and avoid sun exposure completely for at least two weeks.
5. Avoid wearing makeup for at least the first day and only use light makeup for about three or four days. When you do choose to apply makeup, make sure your brushes and applicators are clean and sanitized to avoid exposing the areas to bacteria.
